This was the first Lightsaber Choreography Competition. It ran from September to December of 2002 and is probably best known as the origin of Ryan vs Dorkman (Entry 6). While RvD won, there was some controversy as to whether should have been disqualified since it only fit the time limit of 2 minutes if you excluded the intro. Said controversy was solved with more specific rules in future competitions. Second place went to Entry 4, Art of the Saber. Entry 1, by a group on a naval base in Japan, got third place. Entry 7 by Darth_Knight was entered too late to be officially part of the contest. Entries 3 and 5 are lost in the sands of time.
